“As we look to the future of application workloads, the focus will be on integrating intelligence into applications. This is a significant evolution — we’re witnessing the rise of the AI engineer,” noted Mario Rodriguez, Chief Product Officer at GitHub.
This shift isn’t just about a new job title; it marks a major transformation in software development practices. Developers must now navigate complexities like model evaluation and prompt engineering alongside traditional coding tasks.
