Current Availability

For now, this feature is only rolling out in English and is only available on the web. A quick note: events created with the “Add to calendar” button won’t support adding other guests, and it won’t work with certain emails that already include extractable events, such as restaurant or flight bookings. This means you may still need to handle those types of events the old-fashioned way.

Who Can Access This Feature?

The new “Add to calendar” feature is available for users on Google Workspace Business and Enterprise tiers, as well as those on a Gemini Education, Gemini Education Premium, or Google One AI Premium plan. If you’ve already purchased the now-discontinued Gemini Business or Gemini Enterprise add-ons, you’re eligible too. Admins can easily enable this feature by turning on smart features and personalization in the Workspace Admin console.
