Eric Hilt, a spokesperson from the Southern Environmental Law Center, pointed out that these turbines had already been operating since summer 2024 without any public notification or oversight, casting doubts on xAI’s commitment to transparency. “It’s another example of the company not being transparent with the community or with local leaders,” Hilt mentioned in discussions with The Commercial Appeal.
