• Data Encryption: Leading the charge is data encryption, adopted by 51% of IT leaders. This essential measure secures sensitive information from unauthorized access and plays a critical role in guarding against AI-driven intrusions.

• Employee Training and Awareness: Recognizing the importance of informed personnel, 45% of organizations are ramping up their training programs. An educated workforce can better identify and respond to emerging AI-based phishing and smishing attacks.

• Advanced Threat Detection Systems: With 41% of organizations investing in these solutions, the emphasis is clear: heightening detection and response capabilities against sophisticated AI threats is paramount.

While AI introduces new challenges, core cybersecurity practices remain crucial. Data encryption, employee training, and advanced threat detection aren’t just buzzwords—they are the backbone of a solid defense. Organizations must continually update and adapt these practices to stay ahead of evolving threats.
