They really enjoy being able to do something special,” shared Gretchen Hogue, an educator from Highland Middle School.

For many students, like 6th grader Karissa Coennen, this hands-on experience was not only fun but also a great way to bond. “It’s very fun. Everyone gets to work on it. It’s hands-on and it definitely brings us together,” she said, capturing the spirit of the day.
