Modulate raises $25M for its voice models and analysis suite

Boston-based voice intelligence startup Modulate has raised $25 million in funding to enhance its platform, which offers transcription, emotional analysis, deepfake detection, and policy enforcement for voice agents. The funding round was led by Future Ventures, with participation from Hyperplane and Lakestar, bringing the total funding to $41 million at a valuation of $170 million. Modulate aims to improve understanding of human conversation nuances and detect AI-generated audio.
